Using Midjourney’s generative AI, I created a series of illustrations to depict and celebrate the Rugby World Cup 2023. The art direction focused on conveying energy and movement through rough, scattered brushstroke-style illustrations.
As a self-directed project, the aim was to refine prompting skills and, if successful, curate a selection of these images for upload to Adobe Stock to evaluate the requirements and limitations of AI-generated content on stock image platforms. Unfortunately, the images were rejected due to several issues, including the presence of existing logos and recognisable human faces.
